Privacy Policy

The short version
Buildora collects only the information needed to run your construction projects inside the app. We do not track you, we do not use advertising, we do not use third-party analytics, and we never sell or share your information with data brokers.
Information we collect
Every category below is collected solely to provide app functionality. Each is linked to your account, and none of it is used for tracking.

| User ID | An internal account identifier used to associate your data with your account. |
Buildora does not request access to your contacts list, location, health data, or browsing history, and does not collect advertising identifiers.
How we use information
To operate your account, store and sync your project records, process receipts, generate reports, provide the connected services you enable, deliver customer support, secure the service against abuse, and meet legal obligations. We do not use your project data to build advertising profiles.
Tracking
Buildora does not track you. We do not link your data with data from other companies' apps or websites for advertising or measurement, and we do not share your data with data brokers or advertising networks.
Subscriptions and payments
Buildora Pro is purchased through Apple. Apple processes the payment; we never receive or store your card number or Apple ID password. Apple provides us with subscription transaction identifiers and status so the app knows whether your subscription is active, in a free trial, cancelled, expired or refunded.
Optional connected services
These are off by default and only run if you turn them on:
- Dropbox — if you connect it, Buildora writes a backup of your own account data to your Dropbox.
- QuickBooks — if you connect it, Buildora exchanges the accounting records needed to sync your books.
- AI features — when you use receipt reading or the AI assistant, only the text or document content needed for that request is sent to OpenAI, which processes it on our behalf under its API terms. We do not send your data to OpenAI unless you use one of these features.
Access tokens are stored encrypted on our server and used only to provide the feature you enabled. We never ask for your password to a third-party service. Each provider's own privacy policy governs what they do with the data. You can disconnect any integration at any time in Settings.
Storage, retention and security
Your data is stored on our hosted servers in the United States. Passwords are stored only as salted hashes; integration tokens are encrypted at rest; traffic is encrypted in transit. We keep your information for as long as your account is active. No system can guarantee absolute security.
Your controls
In the app you can export a full copy of your account data at any time, and you can delete your account. Deleting your account permanently removes your account record and all associated projects, expenses, change orders, draws, contacts, receipt files, integration tokens and audit history from our servers, except where we are legally required to retain records. You can also email us to request access, correction, export or deletion.
Children
Buildora is a business tool intended for adults. It is not directed to children and we do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the effective date above and post the revised policy here and at seminolewindstechnology.com/privacy/.
